IESTA's Role

The International Energy Skills & Training Alliance is first and foremost here to act as the central hub for all Energy sector training expertise within Scotland.

We are a not for profit organisation backed by Scottish Enterprise representing the core skills & training organisations throughout Scotland. These include Universities and Further Education College’s as well as commercial energy sector training companies.

With Scottish Oil & Gas training expertise in demand all around the globe, IESTA have created the mechanism to market these unique skills through high level contact with international governments, national oil corporations and large commercial organisations.

IESTA work closely with relevant Energy sector agencies and associates to research, target and identify major business opportunities on behalf of its members within key international markets. We represent our members at ministerial level, identifying future trends, economic growth areas and opportunities to set up new and profitable business partnerships internationally.

IESTA also promote wide ranging collaborative partnerships between its members which facilitates joint bids for major international contracts giving a real competitive advantage.
